Scad Session 1

I present to you, what I learned at scad session 1!

First we have blind contour drawing, can't tell what it is? Neither can I! We could not look at the drawing at anytime. This type of drawing provided some enjoyment over looking at others watchmacallits.

Now, we have my semi-blind contour, it's sorta the same, but you can look at it when not drawing!

We then did, what I believe to be called, blocking in, we start with a simple shape and slowly chip away to produce the drawing!

Finally, my lfie study, semi-blind, I had to cheat on the shirt, table, and oe of th shoes for time with free handing it.

  1. Very neat! Did they blindfold you for the blind drawings?

  2. You might want to resize your drawings before posting them here. If you have photoshop, you should adjust the levels, and maybe sharpen it (sharpening in photoshop is a bit imprecise).

Naturally, it’s better to use a scanner if you have one.

    • My scanner is only legal size, so I had to use a camera. I don’t own photoshop, but I could just use fireworks next time.
